The Story:
The Watt House was a boarding house operated by one of the local Watt clan members. Incorporating the original Daniel Gorrie store, extensively renovated, it is believed the premises also housed the local billiard hall. The Watt House was destroyed by fire in the 1910-1915 era. At Right is believed to be the grocery store/butcher shop/confectionery emporium of Henry Brohm and William "Butcher Bill" Hudgins.
