Report from William White asking the post office inspector at Kingston to reevaluate the assessment for the need for a post office at Maple Lake. Included are letters from James Melville, who has been acting as an unofficial post master out of his store, and a private letter from R. W. Barker letting the Post Master General know he had already investigated this.
